The European Union has concluded free trade agreements (FTAs) and other agreements with a trade component with many countries worldwide and is negotiating with many others. The Directorate General for Trade of the European Commission is in charge of implementing the common trade policy of the European Union #EUtrade works for 500 million European consumers, making trade agreements and defending European interests around the world.
